Animals every where are cruelty abused and sentenced to live on the streets trusting no one ,other animals or humans.
Animal abuse is where people abuse animals for amusement, for food or even for fur . These animals have done nothing wrong but people beat them for no good reason. "Domestic animal violence is when people inflict damage or suffering on animals for reasons other than self-defense. This problem is very serious because many puppies and kittens, as well as other animals, are murdered and tortured every day. Animal cruelty is a big problem but there aren't many laws to prevent it. According to research in 2007, out of the 1,880 cases of animal abuse reported, 1,212 dogs suffered cruelty, 337 cats suffered and over 470 other species of animals also faced abuse. Animals don't deserve to be hurt, especially when they cannot defend themselves. Our government is not doing enough to stop domestic animal violence. Animal abuse is an important issue. This is important not only because of the animals being hurt and abused, but also because it is found that people who are animal abusers commit worse crimes later on."(Rachel 1). This article is showing readers how domestic animal violence is a real thing that the government needs to address and take care of. The government needs to help stop this problem because if they don't more animals will be cruelly abused and some might even be put down if we don't act fast. Animal cruelty doesn't just happen to dogs and cats but to every kind of animals like for example chickens or pigs on farms, they do not deserve to be locked up in cages with around twenty to thirty or so other pigs or chickens. this is some of the things that happen in slaughter house and on some farms where they miss treat these animals. And no one knows about this because its all hidden and never talked about.
Jo-Anne says “FOR OVER A DECADE, I've been traveling around the world documenting our complex and often disheartening relationship with animals. Specifically I look at the animals we use for food, entertainment, research and clothing. These are the ghosts in our highly mechanized world. They are the ignored, the invisible. Their body parts come shrink-wrapped and we call them protein. Their skins are shearing coats and leather boots. They are the animals kept in intensive farms who have been individualized to the extent that we don't call them pig or baby cow, but pork and veal. But they are sentient individuals, as capable of feeling happiness, fear and pain as our cats and dogs.” Jo-Anne shows readers what really happens to these animals behind our backs. And its terrible it just isn’t right that these animals should be treated just like food or like pieces of fur for a coat. All of these animals that are being treated like this have done nothing to deserve this fate and all of them have emotions too. Its just amazing of how these animals are being reated like this and that no one knows about it and not doing any thing about it.
